In March of 2009 we began working for Saint Paul RiverCentre and Xcel Energy Center with the focus of implementing better recycling, increasing energy conservation and creating a long-range sustainability plan. The mission: “Become a Regional Leader in Sustainability” Their award winning waste initiative called 50-50 in2 aims to cut the trash at the facility by 50% and increase their recycling rate to 50% in 2 years. And the energy initiative called 80-20 in 3 will reduce their carbon footprint by 80% and make the facility 20% more efficient then an average building over 3 years.
